Okay, so I have just created the 11 teams for TGAR2. What can I say, I was eager?

Inspired by Smash. Bros. DOJO, I am going to show you one team from TGAR2 at the end of every leg. For Legs 11, 12, and 13, two teams will be revealed at the end of each leg. Then, these will be the eleven teams who will race in TGAR2.

Oh it will be soon. I started it already. I just need time to finish it, I've been frightfully busy at times it seems. Hopefully, I'll finish tonight.

Of course! Super Smash Bros is the greatest! I was originally going to have a SSB race, but I couldn't think of good teams.

A SSB Race would be great, MK!  I'd gladly help you come up with teams (And, yes, I can promise they will not all be all female teams  Tongue)

I've already come up with a few teams if I would do that... and with SSBB coming out it will be even easier because there are more characters (and Assist Trophies could race too, I guess). And of course, they'd travel around the Nintendo universe. Wink But anyway, I need to keep working on Episode 6.

Episode 6 – Are you sure this is a human baby? - Mitzi

Britney and Jeff, who were now first for the third time, were departing first and opened their clue.

Britney: Fly to the city of N’Djamena in Chad. Once there, take a taxi to the Chad National Museum where you will find your next clue.

Lacey: Fly to the city of… N… Duh-ja-menna in Chad.
Madison: Another flight, another chance for Nick and Brady to get screwed over.
Lacey: I like the way you think!

Britney: Can we please get on the first flight that will arrive at N’Djamena.
Attendant: It will arrive at 7 PM.
Jeff: That is first?
Attendant: Yes.
Britney: We’ll take it.

Holly: Fly to the city of N’Djamena in Chad….

Lil: once there, take a taxi to the Chad National Museum where you will find your next clue.

Lacey and Madison were next on the 7 PM flight. Holly and Rich and Lil and Mitzi also secured seats. Hours later, Silas and Andre arrived and were disappointed to learn that the next possible flight would be 7:15.

Silas: We can catch up.

The teams were still so far ahead from the last leg that they all departed as the other teams were still at the Pit Stop. They then raced off to find the Museum.

Holly and Rich were the first in their cab.
Holly: Please go as fast as you can, we’re in a race.

Mitzi: Go, go, go! We’ve got to beat these other teams.

Madison: You know what, Lacey, what would be really fun?
Lacey: What?
Madison: We need to think up nick names for all the other teams.
Lacey: I thought you were going to say we should go shopping.
Madison: Oh we should do that too. After we win a million dollars.

Holly and Rich were the first to reach the Chad National Museum.

Holly: Again?
Rich: Hours of Operation!
Holly: It opens tomorrow.
Rich: You think the back teams will catch up.
Holly: Obviously, it opens at 10 AM tomorrow! That’s all the time in the world!

The other three teams – Josh and Tommy, Juan and Lorena, and Nick and Brady - all got on the same flight with arrived at 4 AM in the morning. Rushing to the Museum, they were relieved to see the Hours of Operation.

Juan: Some of the teams are just going to find a hotel and get five hours of sleep before they have to start racing again.
Lorena: Some people are just sleeping on the streets, and that doesn’t seem smart. The hotel is right over there, so it’s foolishness to me.

10 AM came with all the teams waiting outside the museum. The gate opened and the teams raced to the cluebox.

Rich: Take a taxi to the…
Josh: …Hope Orphanage…
Brady: …where the orphanage director will hand you your next clue.

The eight teams fought to get a cab.  Josh and Tommy and Lil and Mitzi ran down the block to get away from the main mass of the other six teams. A cab drove over and the six teams jostled each other to be the first to claim it.

Britney: We were the first team here, so we should be the first to get into the cab.
Nick: Well, we were the first to get the clue, so we should be the first to get into the cab.
Holly: What? Rich was ahead of you. I remember.
Nick: No, he wasn’t.
Lacey: Holly, it’s not worth it, just give him the taxi.
Holly: Whatever.

Nick: See, I got it.
Brady: Nick, I’m really getting tired of racing with you. It makes me so sick.
Nick: So you’re angry at me because I’m trying to win?
Brady: I’m angry at you because you’re lying to every team on this race!
Nick: That’s not true. I haven’t lied to Josh and Tommy.
Brady: Ugh, if I had known you were like this, I would’ve picked a different partner.
*silence*

Lil and Mitzi were the next to pull over a cab.

Lil: Hope Orphanage, please.

Soon, another cab came to the five teams. Juan and Lorena and Silas and Andre quickly realized they were not having a good chance of getting a cab quickly sitting around there, so they began looking for new places to stand. Holly and Rich and Lacey and Madison were now faced with the cab.

Madison: I got an idea, we both take it.
Rich: Sounds good to me.
Lacey: Yeah, let’s do it!

Josh: We’re going to Hope Orphanage, do you know where that is?
Driver: I know, get in.
Josh: Great.

Britney: Taxi!
Jeff: Hope Orphanage, please.

Juan: I don’t see any taxis around here.
Lorena: Keep walking.

Silas: None of these taxis are going to stop for us.
Andre: Let’s call one. We need to get one!

Nick and Brady arrived first, followed mere seconds by Lil and Mitzi. They were excited by the children at the orphanage. Lil and Mitzi took a few minutes to hug some of the children as Nick took the clue.

Nick: Detour: Food Time or Nap Time.

In Food Time, teams must feed a baby one plate of baby food. The task may seem easy, but teams will soon realize that feeding an uncooperative baby is not as simple as it appears.
In Nap Time, teams must use provided materials to assemble a crib. No directions will be provided, so teams must rely on intuition they figure it out.

Nick: Nap Time, that’s the best.
Brady: Got to agree with you this time. Let’s go.

Lil: Food Time or Nap Time.
Mitzi: Feed a baby, that’s easy!

Lacey and Madison and Holly and Rich arrived at the orphanage in third and fourth. The girls allowed Holly to get the first clue.

Holly: Food Time or Nap Time.
Rich: I’m not good at making things, it’s got to be Food Time.

Lacey: Well, I guess we’ve got to do Food Time.
Madison: Wait, Lacey, wait…. No, we’re doing Nap Time.
Lacey: Why?
Madison: If I can assemble an outfit without instructions, I can sure assemble a crib without instructions!

Juan: There, Lorena, there’s a taxi.
Lorena: Thank you!

Silas: Please somebody stop for us.
Andre: There, stop that guy, his cab is empty.
Silas: TAXI! Oh, he’s pulling over, yes.

Josh and Tommy arrived fifth.

Tommy: We’re construction workers, so assembling a crib should be easy.
Josh: Easier than feeding a baby!

Britney and Jeff were next, in sixth place.

Jeff: Food Time or Nap Time?
Britney: Errr… food time.

Lil: Come on, baby, eat your food…
Baby: MWAH SAH! *knocks spoon out hand*
Lil: *picks up spoon* Eat, you know you love to-
Baby: SAH MAH BAH!! *takes spoon and throws it at Lil’s head*
Lil: Ow!
Baby: *laughs*
Mitzi: Are you sure this is a human baby?

Nick and Brady, Lacey and Madison, and Josh and Tommy were all racing to assemble the cribs. Brady was the one who was putting things in place as Nick decided what should be done next. Josh and Tommy worked together. Meanwhile, Madison worked all by herself as Lacey was told to make sure they don’t lose any pieces.

Lacey: Madi, what are you doing?
Madison: Just watch, Lacey, just watch. This will go faster by myself, trust me.
Lacey: Oh…. If you don’t need me…

Holly: Mitzi, how’s it going?
Mitzi: If our baby was older, he could be arrested for domestic abuse.
Rich: I hope our baby is better.
Holly: Hello baby! *makes funny faces so the baby laughs* Here comes the… what do they say here?
Rich: Just say food, Holly.
Holly: Here comes the food!
Baby: *eats food and doesn’t let spoon out of her mouth*
Holly: Baby, the spoon is not your food! Unhand… Unmouth that immediately!
Lil: I can tell you’re actually a mom.
Holly: Oh yeah.

Josh: This screw.
Tommy: That screw doesn’t fit, Josh.
Josh: Well, screw that!
Nick: Brady, come on, we need to move faster.
Brady: And you need to talk less.
Madison: Lacey, did you find a really big screw.
Lacey: Four…
Madison: Okay, hand me one.
Lacey: Fine.
Madison: Actually hand me all of them.
Lacey: Whatever…

Lil: Finally, he ate something!
Mitzi: Somebody call CNN!
Holly: Okay, baby, this time, when you eat, you do not ingest your spoon. See, this is plastic. It’s a choking hazard.
Rich: Holly, she’s six months old.
Holly: Well, she’ll be the smartest six month old in the orphanage.

Josh: Is this sturdy?
Tommy: Looks solid to me!
Person: Here is your next clue.
Josh: Yes! Take a taxi to the Nassara Strip Commercial Centre. Once there, you will search for the flag. Here you will sign up for two charter vans that will leave thirty minutes apart to the town of Mao. The van will stop at a mosque where you will receive your next clue.

Britney: Baby, eat the yum-yums.
Baby: Ohhh… *eats*
Britney: Hah, this isn’t that hard.
Lil: How did you do that?
Jeff: She can do a great many things that no one can explain.
Baby: *eats more food*
Britney: Good job, baby!
Holly: Okay, Holly, calm down, it’s just that Britney is beating you, a mother of five, at a silly baby feeding challenge. It’s nothing to get upset over. Just calm down…

Nick: Check this please.
Person: No, that’s not safe for the baby.
Brady: Not safe? Nick, we have to look over everything again.

Lacey: So, Madison, you enjoying yourself?
Madison: We’re almost finished.
Lacey: *to herself* Yeah, just tell me when you’re done so I can start being a part of the team again.

Lil: Yay, Mitzi, you did it!
Worker: Here is your next clue.
Mitzi: Take a taxi to the Nassara Strip Commercial Centre… okay, off we go again.

Juan and Lorena arrived next at the orphanage and Lil and Mitzi stayed a few steps behind so they wouldn’t be seen. Juan and Lorena took their clue and chose Food Time, then went inside. After they were gone, Lil and Mitzi ran after the cab they just left. They got it to pull over for them.

Lil: We didn’t want them to send the cab away, so we just waited until they were gone.
Mitzi: You’ve got to think of everything on this race.

Brady: I think we fixed it.
Person: Here is your next clue.
Nick: Let’s go, Brady!
Lacey: And now we are last…
Madison: We’re not last, Lacey, cheer up.
Lacey: We’re last... last, last…
Madison: Lacey, I can’t work when you’re like that!
Lacey: Fine *quietly* Because it’s all about you isn’t it?

Silas: Food Time or Nap Time?
Andre: I’m not feeding no stupid baby!
Silas: Nap Time then.

Britney and Jeff finished the Food Time detour, much to the chagrin of Holly and Rich.

Holly: Come on baby, please!
Rich: Holly, breathe, please don’t lose it now! If we lose it we’re going to get eliminated!

Lacey: *stares blankly*
Madison: Okay, that should be it, we’re done.
Lacey: *half-heartedly* Yippee.
Person: Here is your next clue.
Madison: AH! Lacey, we’re going to a mall!
Lacey: *picks up her bag* Well, then maybe you should drive us there.
Madison: Lacey, come on, I hate it when you act like this.
Lacey: Then just for you, I’ll be quiet.
Madison: That’s not what I meant, Lace! Lace, come back!

Holly: At last! Rich, get the clue.
Rich: Take a taxi to the Nassara Strip Commercial Center.

Juan and Lorena were still at Food Time, but they were finding it to be quite enjoyable. Lorena had a big smile on her face and looked like she was about to cry.

Lorena: For a long time, Juan and I had considered having kids, but we wanted them to be the best cared for kids in the world. With our jobs, we didn’t know if that was possible. Now, I think that we should reorganize things so we can have children. I’ve never felt this kind of happiness, just feeding a baby that’s not even mine. How much more if she was mine?

Meanwhile, Silas and Andre worked together on the Nap Time detour.

Andre: We have three examples we can copy, sweet!
Silas: Okay, Andre, hold this up, and I’ll put this screw in.
Andre: Got it.

Josh and Tommy arrived at the Commercial Center and began searching for the flag.

Tommy: Right there, in the parking lot.
Josh: Right next to the charter buses as well!

They ran to it and signed up for the first departure time.

Josh: First, first, first, Tommy!

Lil and Mitzi were the second to arrive and joined Josh and Tommy on the first bus.

Britney: Okay, taxi, stop here.
Jeff: Where is the flag?
Britney: Let’s go look inside the mall, we’ll just check there.

Nick: There! There, there, there Brady! Run Brady, sign us up!
Brady: Okay, we’re on it.
Lil: Hi guys.
Nick: We’re the only three on this now?
Mitzi: I don’t see anyone else here…

Britney: I still don’t see any flag. Do you think it could be outside?
Jeff: Just wait, let’s go through here one more time. Wouldn’t want to miss it.

Lacey and Madison’s taxi was now on its way to the Commercial Center. Holly and Rich were not too far behind.
Lacey: *looks out window*
Madison: Lacey, I’m really sorry, can you please just stop acting like that and tell me what I did?
Lacey: You pretty much did the whole Detour by yourself, as in without me.
Madison: Lacey-
Lacey: And what’s this about it going faster without me? Do you think I’m not helping the team?
Madison: I said that because I knew exactly what to do. You don’t complain about the Roadblock.
Lacey: It’s supposed to be done by one person!
Madison: Okay, whatever, Lacey. You’re just being unreasonable. Don’t give me that pitiful attitude of yours anymore.

Holly: Can you pass that cab?
Rich: Please, yes.
Holly: We got to pass those girls! Only four spots on the first bus right? With luck, there’s still room on the first one.

Madison: Oh no, is that another team? Holly and Rich! Driver, please go faster! We’re in a race now!

The two taxis were close together. Holly and Rich’s taxi stopped first and the pair got out, but they still had to find the flag. Madison pulled Lacey out the taxi.

Madison: Lacey, I need you to cooperate.
Holly: Where’s the flag?
Lacey: Fine, I don’t want to get eliminated as much as you do.
Rich: I see other teams, Holly! Run, run, run!
Madison: They’re running, Lacey, they’re running!

Lacey and Madison spotted Holly and Rich, dropped their bags and began chasing them down.

Holly: Come on Rich, we can make it there!

Lacey and Madison gained ground on the pair.

Finally a team wrote their name on the sign-ups.

Lacey: Lacey and… MADISON.
Madison: Good job, Lacey.
Lacey: See, Madi, I can do things.

Holly: Second bus, Rich.
Rich: We’ll be okay.

Juan and Lorena finished the Detour, followed by Silas and Andre. The two ended up on the second bus. Meanwhile, Britney and Jeff were still searching the mall. Finally, Britney demanded they check outside, at which point Britney found the flag.

Britney: It was right here the whole time! We could’ve been on the first bus.
Jeff: I’m sorry, Britney. I should’ve listened.
Britney: *smiles* Well, okay. At least we aren’t out.

The first bus to leave for Mao contained Josh and Tommy, Lil and Mitzi, Nick and Brady, and Lacey and Madison.
The second bus to leave for Mao, arriving thirty minutes later, contained Holly and Rich, Juan and Lorena, Silas and Andre, and Britney and Jeff.

The bus stopped at the mosque and Lil and Mitzi took their next clue.

Lil: Travel by foot to the Mao water tower….
Josh: …where you will receive your next clue.
Lacey: Caution: Yield ahead. *looks at Madison*
Madison: *giggles*
Nick: Yield ahead? Oh this is crap, we have to get there first!

The four teams scrambled to find the Mao water tower. No team wanted to be Yielded for one hour. The teams didn’t know where it was so they began trying to ply information from the locals, either successfully or not successfully.

Finally, a team reached the Yield mat.

Josh: We chose not to Yield!
Tommy: Okay, open the next clue.
Josh: Roadblock: Who’s got a steady head?

In this Roadblock, one person must balance a bucket of water on their heads and walk ten meters without having it fall. Upon completion of this task, they will receive their next clue.

Josh: Tommy, I think you’ve got to do this.

Lil: Where is that thing?
Lacey: No idea. Did you get anything?
Mitzi: Let’s just look for it.

Nick: Those girls are going to use their Yield, if we don’t beat them, you do realize that?
Brady: *holds head in hands* We need to find this water tower.

Finally, the teams began to get closer to finding it, until Mitzi saw the top of it.

Mitzi: RIGHT THERE!
Nick: I see it, Brady, run!
Lacey: Madison, they’re going to Yield us, run, run, run!
Mitzi: Lil, we’re closer than all of them, we can get there first!
Nick: Brady, we can outrun them!
Madison: MITZI, LIL! YIELD THEM, YIELD NICK AND BRADY! COME ON!
Brady: I knew they’d try to Yield us!
Nick: It’s just Lil and Mitzi, come on….
A team came to the Yield mat…

Lil: We choose to Yield Nick and Brady!
Mitzi: Okay, Roadblock.
Lil: Mitzi, you do it.
Mitzi: Uh-uh! Lil, you’ve done one! You have to do this one.
Lil: I’ll try it.

Nick: *sighs* We’re Yielded. This is ridiculous.
Brady: It’s karma biting us for lying to the other teams.
Nick: There is no such thing as karma, Brady.
Brady: Well, then, it’s a good thing we weren’t Yielded.
Nick: Oh don’t give me that, Brady.

Lacey and Madison came happily skipping up to the Yield mat, their feud temporarily forgotten. They walked on to the Yield mat and held hands.

Together: We choose not to Yield… because a team has already been Yielded! *giggle and jump up and down the Yield mat*
Madison: Bye-bye boys!
Lacey: *gives Nick a kiss on the cheek* It’s a shame someone so cute can be so evil.
Madison: Okay, Lacey, time for a Roadblock. Wait, before I open this, I think we should really just forget this whole fight. You know, it’s not worth it. I don’t want to lose you as a friend because I wanted to build some stupid baby crib. I’m sorry. Friends?
Lacey: Okay. Friends, again.
Madison: Aww, hug! Okaaay, back to the RACE! Lacey, you want to do the Roadblock?
Lacey: Of course!

Tommy: *bucket falls again* Okay, this is hard.
Josh: Tommy, it’s just like walking across a balance beam. You can do it, Tommy!
Lil: Mitzi, I can't do this!
Mitzi: I'm not going to do everything for you Lil! I'm your teammate, not your slave!
Madison: Lacey! We can be first!
Lacey: Oh you are so right!
Tommy: Okay, just moving slowly.
Josh:  You’re doing it Tommy! You’re doing it!
Lacey: Ah!! *water falls on head*
Madison: Lacey, are you okay?
Lacey: *blurts out laughing* Oh that was scary! I’m okay, Madi!
Josh: Almost there, Tommy. Don’t give up now!
Tommy: *breathes carefully*
Josh: You did it Tommy!
Woman: Here is your next clue.
Josh: Travel by foot to the Pit Stop, the Cultural Centre in Mao, Chad. Warning: The last team to arrive may be eliminated!

A few minutes later, the second bus arrived in Mao.

Juan: Lorena, we need to find the water tower!
Britney: There’s a Yield ahead, oh no!
Jeff: We probably got Yielded. Everyone might be jealous of our three wins already.
Silas: Andre, let’s go this way, this might be it.

Holly: Wow, hi guys.
Nick: Second bus is here, Brady.
Rich: We choose not to Yield, because a team has already been Yielded. Okay Holly… it’s a Roadblock. Holly, you have great balance, you should do this one!

Juan: There it is, I see the big yellow sign!
Lorena: Run Juan!
Juan: *arrives at the Yield mat* Well, obviously, we can’t Yield anyone because Nick and Brady are Yielded. Roadblock. Lorena, I think I should do this one.
Lorena: Okay, Juan, I have faith in you.

Britney and Jeff and Silas and Andre were still lost and couldn’t find the water tower.
Jeff: We need to get proper directions.
Britney: There’s got to be someone who can show us where it is.
Silas: Where are we going Andre?
Andre: I don’t know.
Silas: We need directions!

Madison: Lacey, other teams are here, but ignore them. You can do it!
Lacey: I can do it…
Madison: Go Lacey!
Lil: Mitzi, this is impossible!
Mitzi: Nothing is impossible, Lil.
Lil: I can’t balance this on my head!
Mitzi: Keep trying until you do it, otherwise we’re out!
Holly: Whooo, this is heavy!
Rich: Try it Holly. Try walking.
Holly: Okay, wahh! *bucket falls backwards*
Rich: It’s okay, try again.

Woman: Here is your next clue.
Lacey: *knocks bucket off head, jumps up, and hugs clue giver* Thank you!
Madison: What is it Lacey?
Lacey: Pit Stop! Let’s run!

Juan joined the others in trying the Roadblock. Lil was slowly finding her balance, but was disappointed that Holly got farther and farther with each attempt.

Mitzi: Lil, don’t think about Holly, think about yourself!

Juan: Balance… okay.
Lorena: Juan, you’re doing brilliant!
Rich: Oh wow, how is he doing that?
Lorena: Juan’s distant ancestors were royalty. The way he carries himself, I guess he must’ve inherited that from them or something.
Holly: Don’t let him pass me, don’t let him, oh God no! *bucket falls and Holly runs back to the start*
Lorena: Juan, just a bit farther.
Woman: Here is your next clue!
Lorena: Juan, I love you!
Juan: Love you too, Lorena.
Lorena: Now how did you do that?
Juan: When I was a kid, I taught myself how to walk across a tightrope. Strung a rope between two trees in our yard and spent the afternoons trying to walk across it. I was just remembering that. *smiles*
Lorena: Well, we need to get to the Pit Stop!

Britney: There they are!
Jeff: We choose not to Yield. Who’s going to do the Roadblock?
Britney: Jeff, it’s you.

Silas: Water tower?
Woman: What?
Silas: Water tower, where you get water.
Woman: I’m not understand.
Andre: Find someone else, Silas!

Woman: Here is your next clue.
Holly: Thank you!
Lil: Two teams from the second bus beat us!
Mitzi: We’re still in it, Lil, don’t quit!

Phil: Josh and Tommy. You are team number ONE!
Tommy: Oh that feels good!
Josh: Especially since we’ve been first for almost this whole leg! *high-fives Tommy*

Phil: Lacey and Madison. You are team number TWO!
Madison: YAY!
Phil: I heard you had a little fight.
Lacey: *hugs Madison* Oh, it was stupid. We’re over that now.

Phil: Juan and Lorena. You are team number THREE!
Juan: Nice leg, Lorena!
Lorena: But our best leg will be the last one!

Phil: Holly and Rich. You are team number FOUR!
Holly: All right, Rich! All right!

Silas: Finally, found this stupid place!
Andre: Obviously-
Brady: -you choose not to Yield. We know.
Andre: Okay, then, Roadblock. This sounds like a Silas Roadblock to me.
Silas: I’ll do it.

Nick: Brady, we have only ten minutes left here.
Brady: I’ll do the Roadblock.
Nick: Okay. As soon as time runs out, we’re going to have to breeze through this. We are still in this.

Lil: UGH! I hate this.
Mitzi: Lil, calm down… you know what, take a break.
Lil: Fine.
Jeff: I can barely get this on my head, Brit.
Britney: Jeff, don’t quit, we have to do this.
Silas: Well isn’t this quite the challenge… *begins walking, bucket falls off* Ooh, back to the start then.

Mitzi: Lil, get up and try again.
Lil: Okay, a few more tries I guess.
Jeff: Oh, oh, oh, I think I know how to do this know!
Britney: Come on, Jeff please do this!
Silas: No luck, Andre.
Andre: Silas!

Nick: Five minutes left….

Woman: Congratulations, here is your next clue.
Jeff: Thank you!
Britney: Jeff, let’s go!
Lil: *bucket is shaking*
Mitzi: Lil, stop and breathe!
Lil: *stands still and steadies herself, then carefully walks again*

Nick: *watching hourglass* Come on, come on, come on!

Woman: Here is your next clue!
Lil: YES!
Mitzi: Lil, you did it! I’m so proud of you!
Lil: Pit Stop, Mitzi!

Britney: Where is the Cultural Center?
Man: That is over there, maybe.
Jeff: Maybe?
Man: Maybe.
Jeff: Britney, what do you think?
Britney: Just try it.

Lil: Oh, I am so tired!
Mitzi: We can rest at the Pit Stop, don’t worry. We just have to find this place.

Phil: Lil and Mitzi. You are team number FIVE!
Lil: Five!
Mitzi: I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. Some of the teams are just phenomenal. I’m so impressed that we’ve been able to stay competitive with them.

Phil: Britney and Jeff. You are team number SIX.
Jeff: Blech.
Britney: This was a tough leg for us. We made some stupid mistakes. Tomorrow will be the start of a new leg though.

Nick: And… Brady, go!

Brady ran to the Roadblock and started it. Silas was still not finished and it became a race between Silas and Brady for last place.

Nick: Brady, we just rested for an hour, you should have plenty of energy!
Brady: Slow and steady… slow and steady…
Andre: Don’t give up Silas!

The two team members made increasingly better progress, until finally one crossed the line.

Woman: Here is your next clue.
Nick: BRADY! You did it!
Brady: Come on Nick, let’s go, let’s go!

Andre: We aren’t out yet, Silas.
Silas: No, we aren’t, you’re right!

Silas tried again and this time, crossed the line.

Andre: Come on, Silas, let’s go!

Phil: Nick and Brady. You are team number SEVEN.
Brady: Even the Yield can’t stop us!
Nick: Some people are going to be very sorry they ever decided to mess with us.

Phil: Silas and Andre.
Silas: Hey Phil.
Phil: You are the last team to arrive.
Andre: *nods*
Phil: I’m sorry to tell you, you have been eliminated from the race.
Andre: *sighs* Man, that sucks.
Silas: We had fun, Phil. We had so much fun. I guess we just got lost one too many times for this race.
Andre: I’m glad I got to race with this guy here. I wouldn’t have picked anyone else. He kept my spirits up and you know, we did everything we were asked to do. We wouldn’t change anything.
Silas: Oh, except maybe the part where we don’t win.
Andre: *laughs*

The Great Amazing Race 2 Insider!

After the success of the Great Amazing Race season 1, the casting crew went combing the nation for the best eleven teams for their next season. And what they found in their search was incredible, with teams ranging from soccer players to figure skaters, from married pastors to lesbian poets. With such a diverse cast, how can anyone predict who will come up on top? At the end of each episode of TGAR, starting on Episode 6, one (and two when we reach legs 10-13) of these bold teams that will race around the world for one million dollars will be revealed. These will give you some insight into what is to come on The Great Amazing Race 2.

ANYA (21) and MIKHAIL (27)
Siblings from Minneapolis, Minnesta, originally from Novgorod, Russia

Anya: Hi! Um, I'm Anya and this my brother, Mikhail, and we are going to be racing around the world for one million dollars.  Cheesy
Mikhail: We grew up poor. I mean dirt poor. Neither of us knows what a million dollars means, so I guess it would be nice to have it.
Anya: My parents had seven kids, they needed us to work on their farm. We didn't have much, but we were happy. Mikhail is the third and I'm the youngest. Somehow, it ended up that he would always be the one to look after me, and he's always the one I come to with my problems.
Mikhail: Our parents finally decided to come to America to chase the 'American dream'. But with seven kids, it's hard to grow up in a country where everything costs so much. We made due with what we had. And also we still have our Russian accents, you know? Sometimes people think we arrived in America yesterday because of it. We try not to complain, we work hard.
Anya: All four of our grandparents were part of the revolts on Bloody Sunday in 1905. They all survived, and I'm glad for that. It's so interesting to think that they were part of something that changed the whole country.
Mikhail: Now we get to be a part of something. Of course, it won't change the country. But if we had that money... there are a lot of good things that we could do with it. Smiley
