Turkey is an Asian country not European....
 
yeah I agree the 4th row 3rd pic seems like a Palawan island in the Philippines.... but.. it may be in Thailand also...
 
anyways... how come they would go to New Zealand and the US when this is TAR Asia, where from the beginning they have stated that they will cover only Asia and maybe Australia (which is another continent)...

ohh.. I remember that prior to the announcement of the official racers.. Aubrey Miles (Aubrey/Jacqueline) had already spilled some beans on TAR... the local entertainment press already knew she was in the race a month before the official announcement...
 
and there were already talks that they were first eliminated in Kuala Lumpur...

All 10 teams start out in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the Merdeka Square. When Allan Wu, the host, gives a signal, all teams dash to their backpacks and grab a clue. (thanks to Pau)

Clues instruct them to take taxi to a local shopping mall.

All teams have to rappel down inside the Berjaya Times Square.

i heard in showbiz news here in the philippines that the TAR Asia visited 14 countries in all..
 
only 10 teams and 14 countries?? 6 non elimination legs??

Sometime they gave away free spoilers. The promo tour was in Malaysia @ the Berjaya Times Square. A search for the Square and you can see it's the same building.

These tasks are somewhere else so these teams survive the 1st leg. (their clothings are different from the 1st day)

Yea, it's Sharon and Melody. But it looks like they are walking to the start of the race line and where the teams introduction voiceover comes out.
