From Kristen:

Mr. Eko is NOT AT ALL WHAT HE SEEMS.

That's what I'm hearin'!

And Lordie, Lordie, it's gonna be a good episode Jan. 11.

As Bruce Springstein might say: What is he good for? Absolutely nothin' ...

I've thought all along there was something a little "odd" about Mr. Eko...

Great return!

I couldn't stop laughing when Eko was telling Charlie to climb the tree, and Charlie was like what if I don't, are you going to beat me with your Jesus stick, haha.

Anyone know why that Eko was kicked off the plane?

If Charlie had amassed all those Virgin Mary statues, why hasn't anyone noticed he has been gone to the plane to gather them?

I don't think it would have been so hard for him to have amassed all the statues.  I'm sure they all go out walking around, looking for food, fire wood, etc.  Would be easy for him to go wandering off alone I'm sure...

I thought Charlie was rather amusing also, he kept on arguing with Eko, and I kept thinking, that man is twice your size and would probably not hesitate to bash your brains out... shut up and do what he says... LOL.

question

ok as i have said before, i am not lucky enough to have cable, so all i have is the antenna.  The show is quite viewable, except for that darn computer screen,

Can anyone tell me what the conversation was between Michael and "Probably not Walt"?

PS have you seen the clue on the hanso website, the one with the computer screen?

I doubt it is Walt speaking to Michael.  First, why would he ask if Michael was alone?

I also wonder why Michael is being so secretive about this.  The first thing I would think any other person would tell everyone else what is going on.

After Eko and Locke saw the missing Hanso reel again saying there would be an incident if there was outside communication rather than typing in the numbers, wouldn't they briing this up to everyone else again?

I think he didn't bring it up because the filmstrip said not to use the computer for anything but to enter the numbers and he doesn't want anyone to know he's using it for something else...

I don't think it's Walt either... Also, did you notice that when Jack walked up, Michael stopped typing and put his hands down in his lap.. I don't recall him reaching up to the keyboard again after that... yet when Jack walks by and looks the screen is blank.. totally blank.. not even the blinking cursor is there... it just hit me as odd that he didn't touch the keyboard, yet the screen went blank... ??

I think there has to be someone watching them in the hatch.

hmm..a hidden camera perhaps... a good theory. Also the computer has only list up to talk when Michael is alone in the room.

did you also notice that the camera focused on Michael's hands and he never turns off the screen on the computer? yet when Jack looks the screen is blank? Not even the prompt is there?

Could Michael be the first victim of the disease?

I thought about that too AoM, that it was all in his head... until Wednesday night..   I think it was "boat man" talking to him, and the final bit was "You need to come alone."

What disease are you talking about AoM?

Obviously to me, someone knows what's going on in the hatch because it only talks to Michael, and blanks out when Jack comes in.  Hidden cameras inside, highly probable.

In season 1, when Sayid first met Danielle, she asked him how many of his group were sick.  She told him about the others in her group getting sick (implied they went mad).  Also, Desmond asked Locke and Jack how many of them were sick...
