There's no title for the episode that anyone's found yet.. said to be a "Ben" episode, so maybe we learn how Ben came to be on the island...

There's also a "clip show" in the hour before this airs.. so three hours of LOST on this night.. Cheesy

They wouldn't kill Kate. I THINK it will be Sawyer or Locke.

Reasons why they won't kill Kate:
- She's a fan favorite
- She causes a lot of the drama on the island, which is what LOST wants
- She's the ONLY main female character

I'm leaning toward Locke or Sawyer... the split between Locke and the other Losties.. is supposed to the confrontation with Jack... and Locke and Sawyer are supposed to be on the same "side".. so, I'm guessing either Locke or Sawyer goes.. and there are still the two factions... OR, the one comes up against the other and Jack goes... either way, I don't think it's Kate..

my attitude about deaths right now is, as long as it progresses the storyline and isn't just gratuitous killing off, i don't carewho goes.. i hate the way michael and walt left and there's still that untold story.. why/how was/is walt special

Rousseau has to live.. they're doing her backstory in season 4.. so I guess that guarantees her another year... I could see them killing off Desmond as well.. but I think they'd have a revolt on their hands if they killed of Hurley..

I think Bernard and Rose may go bye-bye, as well as Desmond, Juliet & Ben. Then Richard or Mr. Happy takes over the Others next season and proves to be an even BIGGER enigma than Ben was.

Awesome finale. Some of the best TV I've ever experienced.

My take is, the 'freighter' has nothing to do with Penelope's search for Desmond and is, as Ben said, the bad guys (possibly new Dharma people trying to avenge the slaughter of the old ones?)

I think it was not actually Walt, but the island again using past peoples' forms to communicate thru the current characters' subconscious.

Locke is obviously in the coffin...Jack said he was 'not a friend or family', and Kate said 'Why would I go to THAT funeral'. Well after Locke's actions last night, I don't think ANY Losties consider him a 'friend' anymore. Plus, Locke was pretty much a loner, thus no one showed up.

My main question is, are the next seasons going to feature flash-forwards instead of flashbacks from now on?

I loved it... and am going home to rewatch it again tonight, because there's nothing decent on tonight anyway..

I'm not sure who the funeral was... I'm thinking Locke or Sawyer.. I can see Kate turning away if he's gone to the dark side (like it seems to be... he was vicious last night killing Tom.. Sad

there're three more seasons... They'll all start in Jan-Feb of 2008, 2009, 2010 and will run straight through 16 episodes just like this part has done.. no "mini-season" like this year with the 6, then 16 more...

I think it's a good idea.. just hope they do something between now and January to keep people hooked.. like the LE last summer...
