Went to the theater and saw Live Free or Die Hard.  Loved it.   Tongue  It was nice seeing Bruce kick some butt again.  Lots of good action sequences with a little bit of humor thrown in.  I'll buy the DVD when it comes out.
 
Mission Impossible 3.  Don't really go for Tom Cruise movies but it was good.  I liked Capote as the bad guy.  Die Hard 4 could've used him istead of the computer geek they got instead. (Not that there's anything wrong with computer geeks, mind you.)  Grin
I also saw Pulse.  Pretty good.  It had it's moments. Typical scary white people (I mean really white people) in the walls type of movie.
Slither.  I thought it was gonna be about snakes.  Instead it was about alien slugs.  It was still pretty good.  
Deja Vu.  Really liked it. (But I had the feeling I'd seen it before.)  Wink

I just saw Casino Royale (the recent one). It was different from Brosnan's Bond films. The latest Bond movie was bloodier. LOL. A good movie.

I watched Battle Royale. I am not much of a horror fan but this is one of the best horror movies I've seen. (I'm going to bump the BR topic)

I just watched (again) Lady in the Water. A good movie. Then again I love Shyamalan's movies.
 
I've also seen, but haven't finished, Citizen Kane. It has a good story, and the director was superb, but I just couldn't finish it! Maybe next week I will.

Sleepy Hollow starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. It was a great movie. I like Tim Burton's directing in this movie, and I was surprised it was a sort of "detective" movie. I didn't think it would be. And I totally guessed the "killer" the first time the person showed up on screen. Wink
 
Has anyone read the book from which this movie was based on? "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" or something. Is Ichabod Crane in the book really a scientific detective?

Epic Movie - I can't say it sucked, because I actually liked the plot and some of the stuff there. The guy who played Jack Swallows was spot on in his impersonation. There were some plot twists that surprised me.
 
Some of the things were too random to be funny. I'm pretty sure most of you won't like it though so stay clear of this one. I'm not sure if the people behind this movie were the same people who did the Scary Movie series, but this one wasn't as good as Scary Movie.

Date Movie?? I haven't heard of that!
 
I checked IMDB, and it's from the makers of Epic Movie. However, they are not the Wayans brothers (makers of Scary Movie)! Maybe if the Wayans did the 2 spoofs it would have been better....

Charlotte's Web - a great movie. It felt like Babe (another pig movie) in some scenes but this movie was funnier because of the witty animals. The voice casts are also great actors (Julia Roberts, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese to name a few) which is a plus.
 
The plot is pretty simple but it still delivers lesson. You should go rent it.
