First, thank you MK for making this. Just reading these few posts has brightened my day.

Second, thank you David for that. That was just...... :laff:

and my team.....

Michael (50) and John (50), professional pencil sharpeners

Michael and John are co-workers that work together. They eat lunch together, sometimes. They talk to each other......occasionally.......hardly........never. They don't have many similarities, except that they are both deaf and blind. Amen.

Luciette: And I have super-stregnth *picks up and throws a dog*
Svetlana: We are READY!
Luciette: Wait...not yet
*Svetlana and Luciette run backstage and pop out with plastic wings duck-taped to their backs. Svetlana leaps up and starts flapping her arms wildly*
Luciette: NOW we're ready!

Luciette and Svetlana met in a phsyciatric hospital two years back. They escaped together by "flying" out of the window (in reality, they jumped and each broke several bones). Now, they are friends. Both 34, they believe they are faries that can fly and make people laugh (not with them, at them...but they don't know that Wink

). Both are now labled sane, though their parent's do not agree. We suspect that that is because the parents want them out of their basements. Both believe they can make it far in the race because they are original, fit and smart.

Bethany: Oh wow, I just love your pen! I collect those and that's the last one I need for my collection!
Interviewer: I got this at a Goodwill store for fifty cents, what are you talking about?
Bethany: *gasp* Even better! Quick give it to me!
Interviewer: *slowly hands over the pen*
Bethany: Thank you so much! *puts pen in pocket* You are so nice, like seriously!
Interviewer: So how am I going to write down answers now?
Lizzy: That's why you have a memory, duh!
Interviewer: Well, I think we're done here. *leaves*

Okay here's the last team.

Brandon (28, real age unknown) and Carter (32), alien and spy
Brandon and Carter first met when Carter was assigned to assassinate Brandon on account of him being a high-ranking military officer from another galaxy. However, Brandon turned on the charm (read: activated his alien powers) and they are now best of friends (read: master and servant). Carter likes nothing better than telling Brandon secret Earth secrets and Brandon likes nothing better than conquering people, I mean, doing nice things. They are very much the best friends and quite inseparable ever since that one mission.

Chase: Come on Illian, run, run, run!
Illian: *rolls over*
Chase: I'm not carrying you again!
Illian: *finger breaks off*
Chase: Darn you woman! *picks her up*

Heads will roll.

Svetlana: Go to the airport.
Luciette: We don't need an airport! We can fly there on the power of our imagination!
Brandon: (confessional) This 'imagination'... I must take that power and harness it for my evil purposes! Muhahaha!

Spirits will soar.

Ray: Roadblock. Who wants to dig a hole?
Raymond: How do you dig a hole?
Ray: I don't know, I don't see a shovel or anything.
Raymond: Everyone else is using their hands. Except them. *points to Lizzy and Bethany who are both cheering on the surfer they hired to dig for them*
Ray: I don't get it, this task is impossible.

And babies will strut their stuff.

Gigi: *crawling down runway* Gaga!
Barry: *heading towards cameraman* Ahhhh!!
Baby Expert: Barry, no, that camera can permanently blind you!
Michael: *walks down runway and falls into the crowd*
John: *tries to get to runway but doesn't realize the dressing room door is locked and he has repeatedly been hitting the closed door*
Bridget: We are so going to win this challenge. But... inside... I don't feel like a winner, Tyler. I don't know. It's just all this emotional pressure.
Tyler: Hey, hey, Bridget... we'll be okay. Don't listen to everyone else - just listen to your heart, what you want. We'll do this challenge and we'll both come out as stronger people.
Bridget: *cries* This is just so much drama! *runs off*

Because when we say it's an Un-Amazing Race...

Carter: Route Info: Add six and two. Well, that's easy. Eight.
Person: Here's your next clue.
*silence*
Carter: Seriously? That was it?

We really mean it!

*all of the sudden, Svetlana and Luciette begin floating through time at the speed of light, passing ancient things such as stars, dinosaurs, cavemen and Illian. Eventually they come to a halt and fall into the airport*
