We all know adidas had a pretty great 2015. But do you know which adidas model was the best selling sneaker of 2015? No, it’s not a Yeezy. It’s not any shoe with Boost or Primeknit on it. It’s not the ZX Flux or any Tubular. It’s none other than the classic adidas Originals Superstar. 15 millions pairs of the adidas superstar were sold last year. That’s a lot! 2015 also saw the Superstar celebrate an anniversary which gave adidas a chance to release a huge amount of different models all celebrating the anniversary of the shoe. There were also plenty collaborations the shoe took part in, most noticeably with Pharrell and the 50 different tonal colorways they came out with. adidas Originals just dropped a trio of new Superstars as part of its “adicolor” collection. The sneaker comes fitted with a perforated leather upper and is available in three allover colorways: blue, red and halo blue (which looks a lot like grey). Other details include a rubber toecap finish as well as suede on the heel panel. Tonal branding appears on the tongue and side panel. An iconic sneaker in its own right, the adidas superstar baratas is updated for the adicolor collection in tonal red, white and ‘Halo Blue’ colorways. Sporting uppers of perforated leather, a rubber shell toe and suede heel panel are some of the details that decorate this straightforward reiteration of the silhouette. Following the release of the patriotic adidas Superstar “Adicolor” Pack last week, more colorways of the hyper hued collection begin to trickle about to supporting retailers. Landing at overseas shop titolo is this yellow iteration; dressed in premium leather construction and embossed branding details, adidas continues to find new ways to showcase this classic silhouette.
