What is inconsistent with Brian being with CC when he 'could not be found' was his dad answering the door and saying he did not know where Brian was.

I agree it must have been stressful for both of them and I personally do not judge people I don't know - except where there are specific facts. In this case the allegation was that Brian was asleep when he was supposed to be caring for the baby. I can see where that would concern any parent, including CC.

I personally do not think prior acting in soft porn movies makes them worse parents but falling asleep when you are supposed to be caring for a baby is not proper care of your child. Been there and know how hard it is - but he still should not have done it. I also agree CC ought not to have hit him. I still have not really figured out what kind of fight they likely had in front of the child.

So there are facts that suggest everything is not as rosy as painted by Speedshark and you. But then if you really know them that it's great things have been amicably worked out.

I just read the whole thread, and I didn't feel anyone tried and convicted them. What I got was concern as a parent for the child. I don't care what either of them do for a living, but when you have a child, the choices you make in life affect that child. I liked Brian at first, and I will admit he played a hell of a game and based on that he deserved to win. Did I want him to? No, I didn't. And by the way, rain, I have a great sense of humor who loves animals, and I find your avatar very offensive, your explaination does not jibe, for me. it is JMHO.

Brian and CC are public figures, both because of their involvement in Survivor and their roles in movies and on TV. News reports indicate that CC left their son alone with Brian, who had been drinking. Is it tasteful? No. Is it funny? Well, that depends on your sense of humor, I guess. Is it a legitimate image for Rainman to use as an avatar? Of course. Can't we all just get along, or at least agree to disagree, and go on from here? Please?

by the way - what's new in Tanya's part of the world?

I am a Canadian who visited Tennessee for the first time last year for about a week. We had a wonderful time. It's one of my favourite states and i would love to see more of it.

. . . .Good advice, try to think a little more about your own posts and how they come across. If you had explored our site a little further before you took fingers to keyboard, you would have seen that, while we have a variety of diverse opinions about various things, and sometimes candidly express ourselves, flaming each other is fairly non-existent. It's not that we couldn't rip one up if we wanted to, it's just kinda' refreshing to have an area free of all the other crap that you can find out there in cyber land.

Not to say that we don't call down some of our own from time to time, or fall on the knife ourselves on occasion, but it's done (hopefully) without insulting the other person. You seem to have a lot to say, and we would like to hear it, but there are a lot of ways to make a point my friend, and most times it's best not to use a granade when a rap on the nuckles with a ruler would do.

As for my own feeling about your avatar: different people see humor different ways. Yes we have a "emotion smiley" of a smiley face with a gun, but it is to EXPRESS an emotion in a post. YOUR advatar with your name is designed to say something about WHO YOU ARE/What you are all about, etc. . . . . . so your argument about that is apples and oranges. Another poor choice on your part . . . . did I mention the maturity thingy??

Bottom line Rainman, your choice of names, your choice of advatar, the "in your face" style of posting tell a lot about how you are preceived and WANT to be preceived. You shouldn't be surprised when you get called on it.

Anyways rain does not know Brian..they know of each other but have never met. Brian and I both grew up in md within a few miles of each other but did not meet until I went to L.A. a few years ago. Since we have become great friends.. Brian and I share alot of the same values and aspirations and what YOU saw of Brian was him playing a game...There was alot of cheese in it. But take that and what you read and make assumptions..I know that I am a postive member of my community and work damn hard at be a stand up individual. ...well thats from the selective insight you have but that is not very objective. Brian opens doors for ppl, is very polite, and has always been staright with me. Not to say that he can't be shifty but depends on respect I think. As for the game well, he said from the beginning he meant biz and he came thru. He flat out out played the rest. I am not going to go into anymore detail than that and say that judge not lest ye be judged. :angel:

We are passionate about Survivor - and about the Survivor contestants, as you see. We are NOT passionate about shit stirring or flaming other posters. Most of the people who post here have known each other for close onto two years or more, so I think we know each other just a tad better than you do.

And BTW, I agree with all Eric had to say. These people put themselves out there, they create a "persona" in front of a camera, and we assume they want to be talked about. This is a message board, not a magazine or newspaper. The purpose of a message board is to discuss and to state opinions good bad or ugly. If you can live with that, and stop with the immature "stirring", then join in with discussions and state your own opinion - without attacking other posters, whatever your silly motive may be for doing it!

Oh, and if you think we talk trash about Brian, you should have heard us talk about Jerri. :rifle:
