Wonderful synopsis but to shed a bit of light on it.

In the episode where Syaid went off Jack mentions that he has been gone for two days.

Last week someone mentioned to Charlie that Claire had been gone for two weeks (I believe).

There are probably other episodes that mention some extensions of the days but those two pop into my mind.

Looks like tonight is a recap of the Syaid and "The French Woman". I am looking forward to this as there are things I probably missed last time and with Claire back you just know they are going to head out to find her baby and run into the Island Mafia.

there's just something that's bugging me a bit about "LOST"......we saw the first episode last night and one of the survivors was a very pregnant woman.    In my last month of pregnancy we were due to fly interstate to attend a friends wedding however I was told I was not allowed to fly so late into my pregnancy.......reasons were given but I can't remember what they were as I was so furious at the thought of having to drive 1200 kilometres!

I know it's just a tv show and we're not supposed to think about things like that but it just bugged me a bit that's all!

My experience is that airlines aren't that dilligent about it.  I was 5 months along with my first and looked like I was 8 or 9 and no one even questioned me.  If they had I'd just have told them that I looked more pregnant than I was because of how I was carrying and that I had my dr's permission to fly.

I was 7+ months pregnant and took a flight to NY, and then a puddle-jumper upstate.  During another pregnancy I was 8+ months and flew to CA.  I never thought much about limiting myself during pregnancy.  Heck, I even rode a standup rollercoaster when I was pregnant once!

I remember my mother on a ladder painting the living room ceiling and outside cleaning out the gutters while pregnant.

I don't recall anyone ever questioning me about it.  I think nowadays people go a little overboard with the "what if" scenario's and force society into limiting personal choices.

I rode several roller coasters in Vegas this fall while in my first trimester and did the same early on with my first son.  To this day he loves the roller coaster.  Grin

The season's not actually ended here yet.  And they've gone through all of the episodes twice now (I think, have they missed any?).  I don't watch the reruns, tho I probably should have as obsessed with it as I am.  I'd like to have the whole first season on DVD - would be fun to watch straight thru...

There's a new epi this week and next, so two weeks of excitement.  This week the synopsis says it's about Claire:

Homecoming
Claire returns with no recollection of the plane crash or anything that has happened since; Jack and Locke formulate a plan to defend Claire against her kidnapper, who threatens to kill off other survivors unless Claire is returned to him.

And the next is about quite a few folks:

Outlaws
Kate and Sawyer bond as they search for a wild boar that Sawyer swears is harassing him; Hurley and Sayid worry that Charlie is losing it after his brush with death; a shocking prior connection between Sawyer and Jack is revealed.

Thanks, Yes!  Wow...now I REALLY can't wait for this week's new eppy.  I heard from some other forum (don't recall where or I'd give 'em credit, but it's probably The Fuselage.com) that Claire IS still pregnant.  That's why Ethan wants her back so bad.  But that leaves lots of questions....The first of which is how did she escape?
