For those of us in school I think it could be cool to post the classes we are taking or will be taking soon.

Well, this year......

Trimester 1:
English 9
World History & Civilization
Career Plan & Success Skills
Health
Orientation to Life and Careers

Trimester 2: (Current Trimester)
Study Hall
Computer Applications
Advanced Swimming o_O
Biology I (or Roman Numeral 1 w/e lol)
Algebra 1 Honors (A Smart Kid Class, too bad I'm failing)

Trimester 3: (Don't know the order quite yet)
Study Hall
Algebra 1 Honors
World history & Civilization
English 9
Biology I

These are the classes for this year. We started planning the classes we are taking next year this week. Here is what I have planned:

English 10.1
Enlish 10.2
Geometry 1.1
Geometry 1.2
Integrated Chemistry/Physics 1.1
Integrated Chemistry/Physics 1.2
Physical Education 1
Physical Education 2
Broadcasting - Mass Media
Spanish 1.1
Spanish 1.2
Interpersonal Relationships
Business Foundations 1.1
Business Foundations 1.2
Indiana Studies

15 Classes. 3 Trimesters. 5 Classes a Trimester. 70 Minutes Per Class.

Some classes are 2 Trimesters long. I'm doing bad at Algebra. Pulling out of Honors Program and doing regular Geometry next year. =_=

So, what classes are all of you taking or planning for next year?

Fall 06
Spanish 101 - Elementary Spanish (four days a week - one hour, four credits)
 - I took two years in high school and this class was both years combined into one semester - need four semesters of a language for my possible major - whatever that may be)

History 195 - American Memory of World War II (twice a week, 90 minutes, four credits)
 - This class filled my first year writing requirement. Interesting class - learned more about underlying issues in the war (race, military strategy, ect.) than the actual timeline of the war.

Math 115 - Calculus I (three days a week - 90 minutes, four credits)

Stats 350 - Introduction to Statistics and Data Analysis (two 90 minute lectures and a 90 minute lab a week, four credits)

Winter 07
Spanish 102 - Elementary Spanish (four days a week - one hour, four credits)

Economics 101 - Microeconomics (two 90 minute lectures, one 90 minute discussion a week, four credits)

Math 116 - Calculus II (three 90 minutes classes a week, four credits)

Stats 125 - Games, Gambling, and Coincidences (twice a week - 90 minutes, three credits)

My daughter's high school did trimesters... was very hard for her ADDness.  Every twelve weeks there was a different schedule and different teachers... She eventually switched to an alternative school where she could work at her own pace.
