Today, some of the guys in my computer class had to go to the other schools to install AVG anti virus on the computers. (teachers are that sad, they can't do it themselves) all but 3 of us (me and two other people) stayed at the high school and we had fun wrapping up cables for 2 hours. Undecided

Sarcastic. All the lecturers were in a very sharp, sarcastic mood today for some reason.  My class continued with class presenttions today. Some of them were very...disturbing.  And I got an ultimatum. If I don't come up with some idea for a sketch on verbal messages in...36 hours, I'll lose 15% of my grade Sad

Other than that, it was a good school day. Smiley

Maybe you can draw a picture of people talking to each other and explain how verbal messages do stuff. Oh and by the way, Elle, this is kind of off-topic, but I do read your blog. Kinda random place to say it, but yeah, I do. Smiley

BTW, Heather, I find that hilarious. Cheesy

for sketch do you mean drawing? or do you have to do something to explain verbal messages?

A friend of mine is in theology and she was telling me about this exercise she did in class. The class was divided into pairs and give a piece of paper and one pen. Together each pair had to draw, together, "home", but they were not allowed to speak to each other, so they had to find other ways to communicate without being verbal. Afterwards everyone talked about the experience...

We had a sub yestrerday in Business. She was this old 75 year old grandma and she had the granny voice too.

First she said we'd need our workbooks, then someone said what if you dont have it? She said, well your in some deep sh*t then.

Then she had a Victorias secret bag under the desk and somebody asked what was in there and she said it was her goodies.  Roll Eyes

Then someone drew a dildo in someones workbook and he told her as a joke and she said let me see, I've never seen one of those before. lol

Yeah, it was pretty unappropriette but hilarious day.

Terrible at first, but it'll turn out well in the end. It was not a school day, but I had to go to college in the morning to do the sketch on verbal messages. Unfortunately, despite me telling him what to do for the past week, the only thing my partner (who's notorious for skipping classes and not handing in assignments) could say was "I cannot do this, I dunno anything." Needless to say,the presentation could not go on as I'd planned it, and the grades sucked. 2.5 out of 15. I've NEVER failed anything in my entire life, lol.

Anyway, my lecturer took me aside and tole me she was sorry I had to be paired with 2 inactive members, the above mentioned one, and the class genius, who is sick I think and has not been to college for the past month. So, she told me that she would assess my 15% based on another assignment, an essay. Phew. That should be an easy 15%. since I'm good at essays.

Thank God.  Grin

This is posted here, because I need to talk about it, and I'm not allowed to post it on my blog.

Because I suspect my classmates read my blog, and they're not supposed to know I get to do an essay.

^ I know. =)

Anyways, classes now are all just revision, with quizzes to help us prepare for the final exams. The quiz I took today, I got 76%, which was the highest mark in the class, the second highest scorer only had 64%. The lecturer used me as an example "You guys should really start studying like Elizabeth, or you'll all fail the exam". I was like "wth, I haven't touched my notes/textbooks since the midterms 7 weeks ago." :laff:

I'm scared of what's going to happen tomorrow because (I think) one of my friends accidentally messed up the router connected to MY computer (because she deleted the flash I think... I know none of you know what that means, but i think it means EVERYTHING is gone) I don't even know why she wanted to use my computer today (probably to listen to music since her speakers didn't work).

I better not get in trouble for this  Angry

Fine.

My presentation went well in the morning, thankfully, but then my glasses broke 3 hours before a graded quiz I needed to take in the afternoon. It was a mad rush trying to get them fixed, thankfully I had a spare rimless frame, so I got holes drilled in my lenses and attached to the frame. I can't believe my mum actually thought I broke my glasses on purpose!!! Roll Eyes
Anyway, I spent the 3 hour break meant for studying trying to get my glasses fixed, since I can't see more than 5 feet in front of me without them, which mean I did not hve time to study for my quiz. To my surprise, I got a 22/25, compared to my usual grade of 18 or 19/25.

Weirdly, I do better when I do not study.
