My "Sunday in the Sixties" - I spent the afternoon watching Brigadoon... *sigh* Gene Kelly, Van Johnson, Cyd Charise... I love it... Now if I just had Finian's Rainbow to watch afterward... life would be perfect... Smiley

After BB6 last night, we watched "Monster-in-Law"!
Why?  Since neither of us care much for JLo or Jane Fonda.
We needed a good laugh!  We did get some!   :laff:

Memento is EXCELLENT and was considered "snubbed" for the best picture of the year catagory that year at the Oscars.  It's one I personally own.

finally saw 40 year old virgin - OMG my stomach hurt after watching that from laughing so hard! (of course watching the three old ladies in the row ahead of us keep putting their hands over their mouths was pretty funny too!)

Watched Sin City with some friends this weekend. Not sure how I feel about that. The cinematography was incredible, but I for one did not like the message it portrayed.

I'm having "Sixties Weekend Part Two"... Finian's Rainbow tonight.  Didn't realize Francis Ford Coppola directed that movie. (And speaking of, The Outsiders, which he also did and launched lots of careers - Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, etc. - is 20 years old this month.)

Saving Memento for tomorrow... Smiley
