Despite snakes, monsoons, and food-stealing monkeys, the beach where CBS's "Survivor: Thailand" was filmed may have been safer than the California home of one of the reality TV show's final five contestants. That's because the wife of castaway Brian Heidik was arrested last month and charged with spousal abuse. Charmaine Heidik was busted by cops on November 17 following an altercation in the couple's suburban Los Angeles home, according to police and the below misdemeanor criminal complaint. The 30-year-old woman, who spent two days in prison before being released on her own recognizance, allegedly punched her husband in the nose. A bloodied Heidik then called 911, but he refused medical treatment when officers arrived. At her arraignment last month, Charmaine Heidik was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her 34-year-old husband and to not "own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons." A Superior Court judge also granted Charmaine a one-time visit---in the company of a sheriff's deputy--to her former Quartz Hill residence to pick up belongings. Charmaine, who, like her husband, has starred in a variety of soft-core pornos, made an appearance on last Thursday's (12/5) episode of "Survivor," which was taped five months ago. She was one of several family members allowed a brief on-camera reunion with their contestant-relatives. Heidik, whose trial is scheduled for December 16, faces a maximum of a year in jail if she's convicted of the corporal injury to spouse charge. (3 pages)

THE wife of "Survivor: Thailand" contestant Brian Heidik has been busted by cops in L.A. for attacking her husband.

Court TV's The Smoking Gun is reporting that Charmaine "C.C." Heidik - who has appeared in soft-porn films with her husband - was arrested Nov. 17 outside the couple's suburban L.A. home in Quartz Hill and charged with spousal abuse.

Charmaine, 30, served two days in jail before being released on her own recognizance - and was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the 34-year-old Brian and to not "own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons."

A Superior Court judge granted the buxom actress a one-time visit - in the company of a sheriff's deputy - to her residence to pick up her belongings.

The couple has a son, Logan.

Charmaine was featured on last week's episode of "Survivor: Thailand" when she briefly visited Brian on the island.

Brian Heidik remains in the running on "Survivor: Thailand," which will award $1 million to the show's winner in a two-hour episode airing next Thursday, Dec. 19.

"We do not comment on the contestants' personal lives," said a CBS spokeswoman.

I have to wonder if Brian thinks he won the million, and doesn't want to share it with C.C.? He certainly seems like the type who would know what buttons to push to make his wife lose her temper to the point of punching him in the nose, and he files a complaint with the police, and get a protection from abuse order as a result. Next he files for divorce, and tries to deny her access to his new found wealth, perhaps? :sneaky:

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The wife of "Survivor: Thailand" contestant Brian Heidik is scheduled to go to trial this week on a charge of hitting her husband.

Charmaine Heidik, 30, was arrested Nov. 17 on a charge of inflicting a corporal injury on her spouse, Brian Heidik. He is one of the four remaining contestants on CBS' "Survivor: Thailand," which ends its run Thursday (Dec. 19) by giving away its million-dollar prize.

Like Brian, Charmaine Heidik has acted in several soft-core porn films, often under the name C.C. Costigan. They've appeared together twice.

According a Los Angeles County sheriff's report (posted at thesmokinggun.com) Brian Heidik called police Nov. 17 and said his wife punched him in the nose while he was sleeping on the living room floor of their home in Lancaster, Calif., north of Los Angeles.

She told officers she returned from running an errand to find their child crying and Brian asleep with a beer in his hand. After an argument, she pushed him, the report says, causing Brian's nose to bleed.

Heidik declined medical attention. Charmaine Heidik was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her husband until her trial, scheduled to start Monday (Dec. 16).

CBS offers no comment on the case; the network has a policy of not commenting on contestants' personal lives.

But this is getting blown outta porportion...This week there is a pic of her on her cel coming out of court(in enquireror[sp] i think)...well she was on the phone with B...Everything is fine and ... Hmmm right before B left for T-land I was talkinig to him about my woman getting crazy and I ain't the type to hit a lady so I just dialed 911...luckily I live in a rural area and I talked the cop into just giving her a talkin too.... but in L.A. if the call is made then someone's got to go downtown. :afro:

LANCASTER -- The wife of "Survivor: Thailand" finalist Brian Heidik agreed Tuesday to undergo 26 counseling sessions in return for the dismissal of a spouse-abuse charge against her, officials said.

The misdemeanor charge against Charmaine Heidik, 30, will be dropped if she completes the counseling sessions and does not commit any more violations, Deputy District Attorney Richard Quinones said.

Heidik was arrested Nov. 17 at the couple's home in Quartz Hill after Brian Heidik telephoned deputies and reported that his wife had punched him in the nose, officials said.

Charmaine Heidik told deputies she got angry when she returned home from shopping and found her husband drunk and their child crying, a sheriff's report said.

Charmaine Heidik has pleaded not guilty to the charge and did not admit guilt by agreeing to the settlement, officials said. She faced a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted, officials said.

Brian Heidik did not show up for court Tuesday, when trial was scheduled to begin, Quinones said.

Prosecutors have not been able to contact Brian Heidik, Quinones said. Heidik's father, who answered the door at his son's Quartz Hill home, told officials he did not know where his son was, Quinones said.

"Without him, we don't have a victim to explain what happened," Quinones said.

Charmaine Heidik did not have a prior criminal record.

She will appear in court March 3 to give a report of her progress in counseling. On June 25, the charges will be dismissed if she fulfills the requirements, Quinones said.

If Charmaine Heidik fails to fulfill the requirements, the case will go to trial, he said.

Hmmmm, I suspect Brian wasn't around for Court because he is probably in New York getting ready for a TV show.

Don't guess that if he wins, he will have a wife come running up to hug and offer congrats when they do the Renuion show! . . . . . well, at least not HIS. Grin

Antelope Valley press is reporting a plea bargain. Brian never showed up. His dad claims to not know where his son is. The restraining order was lifted in part - she can now hug him at the reunion show so long as she doesn't hit him. I dont think she is going to go - but who knows.

She must do 26 counselling sessions. Which she will do at 2 per week. she has a movie that she will be in starting in 2003 and needs to get the counselling out of the way as soon as possible.

I am sorry all this happened to them to be honest. I hhope they can work it out.

that got blew outta porportion. They are still living together and are planning many vacations this summer. The show is is getting ready for would be the reunion show in L.A. wouldn't it...lololol I can't get over all the speculation and rumors...hehe...anyways you all have fun tonight and root for my boy! I won't be rooting for Brian tonight, unless it's to root for him to go first. Brian's an arrogant so and so, who's ego is just too big. I could care less about his relationship with his wife, except to say that if she got mad and popped him, he probably deserved it. I hate the way he sit's back and makes smug comments on the side. He's a chauvenist and needs to be taken down. P.S. I wouldn't admit to being his buddy either!

What I want to know is who has the child? I consider that these two people who call themselves mother and father - have absolutely no business on this earth taking care of a dog - let alone a baby. Wingsy, I don't think anyone deserves to have something negative happen to them ...
Does Brian deserve to win Survivor? Well ... technically, I suppose so ... do I WANT him to win? Hell NO! As a woman, I find him offensive in his comments ... and, well, I just don't like him as a person ...
BUT ... as far as him being involved in porn ... well ... THAT doesn't make him a bad person ... Just because I don't like or watch porn doesn't make Brian any less of a person to me, and has nothing to do with my disliking of him.
