i watched this movie called 'breaking and entering' with jude law and robyn wright penn...looked good, was shot well and all but the story and writing was pretty boring and it didn't really go anywhere.  after that i watched 'freedom writers' which was pretty good.  in the same vein as 'dangerous minds' and 'lean on me' but overall pretty good, especially if you like 90's hip hop.  i didn't know it was based on a true story either which made it that much better...

oh yea, what i just saw last weekend is 'the fountain' by darren aronovsky...if you know and like his stuff (requiem for a dream and pi) you'll love it.  it's great fantasy style context and the story is imaginitive and touching...HIGHLY recommended.

The last movies I watched were...
 
The Messengers...Stupid little kid points at creatures crawling over walls but doesn't say anything.  Okay.
Stay Alive...Geeks play video game and die if they die in the game.  I liked it.  I may even get the game.
Black Christmas... A remake of the '70's version.  Don't remember seeing the original. (For that matter, I don't remember much about the new one either.) Standard slasher fare.

I didn't bother to watch HP 3 on channel 5 because i know the story too well and got very turned off when the story gets too edgy and twisted.
