I like it, but I'd like to know how Rudy/Rupert's score was lowered. Oh and some quick detour and roadblock sections would be a nice touch. Go Karen/Kelly!! Cool

Some clarification:

In the rules I said that I would add up the mean score's of how voters scaled the teams. Then, since a lot of TAR is based on luck, I would add a luck portion to it. There were six cards: +1, +2, +3, -1, -2, -3 points. Then I randomly drew out the name of a team. Example: Charla and Ethan had a mean score of 8.5 based on how voters ranked the teams. Then I randomly pulled out the -2 card. So their mean score became 6.5. (I hope that made sense.)

I swear I'm not biased toward any team. If I controlled the outcome of the game, what would be the purpose of the game? I don't have any more control over the game than any of you do. But hey, I'm glad you're all enjoying the game. Thanks!!!

P.S. FYI, I'm not rooting for Kelly/Karen. I'm rooting for Neleh/Gretchen. I have no more control over how the teams do than any of you.

2nd leg:

Teams headed out from Timbuktu and were instructed to make their way back to the capital of Bamako. This time, rather than take a 27 hour bus ride, there would be charter flights. The first would leave at 3:00 and the second at 4:00. The first two teams, Derek/Jenna and Karen/Kelly signed up for Charter #1. The last three teams ended up on Charter #2. Upon arrival at Bamako airport, teams learned they must fly to Rome, Italy, where their next clue awaited them. Teams scattered looking for the quickest flight. Charla/Ethan and Neleh/Gretchen ended up on a flight that arrived earliest. Kelly/Karen and Brian/Lill boarded another flight that arrived fifteen minutes later. Derek/Jenna ended up on a flight that arrived forty-five minutes after the first flight. Flights connected through Paris, France and Zurich, Switzerland.

Okay, let's start rating the final five teams. Remember 1 is lowest, 10 is highest. Rank now!!!
